Initial Lactation Consultation

This is a 1.5-2 hour individualized consultation! A full feeding assessment is done, including a weighted feed. We may address some common breastfeeding issues, including breast or nipple pain, difficulty latching, a fussy or sleepy baby, and how to survive those overnight feeds. Bring your concerns and questions are we come up with a care plan for you and your pediatrician.

Bottle Refusal

YES, I CAN HELP!!

Bottle refusal is when a baby who has been mostly or exclusively nursing at the breast will not or stop eating from a bottle.

We will go through a full assessment, customize a CarePlan, and learn oral functioning exercises to help get your baby back to the bottle.

This 60-minute appointment is important to track your progress, address any questions that might come up, and make any adjustments to our plan if needed.

FEES & PAYMENTS

PAYMENTS:

I have partnered with Cigna (Wildflower) to offer lactation & breastfeeding support to those who are eligibility. Please Email me for more information and eligibility links.
A fee of $175 will be applied with Wildflower due to travel & administration fees. Only for in-home visits.

Private payment is due at the time of service. The Affordable Care Act mandated insurance payers to cover lactation services. You may request a itemized superbill to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement of any out-of-pocket fees. It is always advisable to call your insurance company and ask their policy on covering lactation services.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Missed Appointments and/or canceled appointments without at least a 24-hours' notice, will be charged a $100 fee with the credit card on file.

ADDITIONAL FEES:

Multiple babies (twins, triplets, ect) are an additional $50/baby and require a 1.5-hour initial consult.
