Prenatal Breastfeeding Class - March 27th 5pm

Gold Beginnings

A Trauma- Informed Virtual Breastfeeding Class

Feel confident. Feel supported. Feel safe.

Breastfeeding can feel overwhelming. And if you’re navigating anxiety, depression, or past trauma, the pressure to “do it right” can feel even heavier.

You deserve support that understands your whole story.

GOLD Beginnings is a live, virtual prenatal breastfeeding class designed especially for mothers who want gentle, evidence-based education delivered through a trauma-informed lens. This is not a rigid, one-size-fits-all course. It’s a compassionate, supportive space where your mental health matters just as much as feeding goals.

Who This Class Is For

  • Anyone who wants preparation without pressure or shame

  • Expecting mothers who feel anxious about breastfeeding

  • Moms with a history of anxiety, depression, or perinatal mood disorders

  • Survivors of trauma who want emotionally safe, consent-based education

  • Highly sensitive or overwhelmed mothers who need calm, grounded guidance
  • Whether breastfeeding feels exciting, scary, or somewhere in between — you are welcome here.

What’s Included:

  • Antenatal Hand Expression – Learn how and when to collect colostrum during pregnancy

  • Golden Hour & Early Initiation – Understand the importance of skin-to-skin, delayed bathing, and the instinctive “breast crawl”

  • Positioning & Latch Techniques – Clear, visual demonstrations to help you feel confident in getting a good latch from the start

  • Milk Supply & Supplementation – Identify the real signs of low milk supply and understand how to use paced bottle feeding when needed

  • Nipple Care & Tools – Practical tips for preventing and managing soreness, and when to consider nipple shields

Whether you're planning to exclusively breastfeed, pump, or use a combination of methods, this class will equip you with the foundational tools and insights to make informed, empowered choices for your family. My goal is to help you start your feeding journey feeling calm, prepared, and supported.
